Make sure you go into ALL of the areas and turn all the items to friends only. I thought I had, them my wife about four screens I had not changed.

Between mail, oldcolemanparts.com (bulletin board) to coleman colectors forum, Craigs, eBay, gasbuddy.com/ I am spent. Now I found this place...oh well.

Well i am on FB with family, church family, and work. Work being a school and kids using phones to access FB i use it to rat them out. I also keep up with old school friends and most gun/outdoor websites/forums i use also have a presence on FB.
you are correct about having good antivirus program, not free, and keeping it up to date. the free ones do not remove anything they just report.
I use zonealarm at home. it has a good firewall along with the other features.

as a side note I tried a FB search for renodesertfox and FB gave me a link to the camping forums.

          Ego pushing

Truth is I misplaced my password into Facebook for Renodesertfox, don't know how...but anyway. I started a new page not to long ago with my real name "Brenton Cooper" if anyone cares. You can catch me there. In my flicker account, Renodesertfox is all ya need. And my website: http://www.rdfphotography.com is active as ever. But of course, http://www.campingforums.com rules my heart! See ya by the eternal campfire here!

Was concerned about Facebook. Family encouraged me. Ours is a family site used by both sides of Jan's family and my family.
Rather like a small family reunion each morning. A real joy. Sorry to hear of bad results.

At first I had some probs, but those have been worked out. I'm on there for good now, but I just don't sit on it day-in, day-out. It's a great way to communicate. At least I'm seeing what my children/grandchildren are sayin. I agree with Rich, it's not a bad site.

I hit it every week or so now. Not much going on, no need to waste much time with it. Heck, I may cancel it before long......

I watched a video about social networking the other day and it mentioned facebook as adding 200,000,000 users in one year and tv took 13 years to reach 50,000,000 viewers.
                    below is the link:

I love my Facebook account. Friends that I would normally have lost touch with are huge part of my friend base. It's a nice way to keep in touch. I also enjoy finding out other things I have in common with people. Maybe an old friend from school and I have the same hobby now. I enjoy it....but can also see why others may not.
