Re: Journey to Watson Lake and Artic Circle
From Dawson City, Yukon I took the Dempster Highway to the Artic Circle. This highway is not for the faint of heart! The only gas station is in Eagle Plains, Yukon, so I had to fill up as close to the start as possible. This was a 500 mile round trip gravelly, pothole infested, and muddy road.

How long was the trip in total?
Great photos. Makes me ready to do some traveling!“One could not be a successful scientist without realizing that, in contrast to the popular conception supported by newspapers and mothers of scientists, a goodly number of scientists are not only narrow-minded and dull, but also just stupid.” - James D. Thank you for posting up your pics and a write up of your journey! How very cool. A trip that many would not contemplate or execute. A nice trip...good future story telling.
I am assuming your Honda did good. Pretty impressive considering the roads. You should send a write-up (miles, mpg, oil changes, etc.---just like here) and those pics to Honda press/PR/etc. dept here in the US. I am sure they would love to see their vehicle taking on this adventure with you. It's good PR for them. Who knows...you might get some Honda swag from them.2020: 7 nights 2019: 5 nights 2018: 20 nights 2017: 19 nights 2016: 20 nights
