A few buddies and I are planning a trip to somewhere in the Southwest, or Rocky area. We went to yellowstone last summer, had a blast, but would like to go somewhere different this year! Mot very familiar with the area as we are from the Northern-midwest!
We are planning to camp for ~5 days, as it will most likely take us a day to travel there each day. We really would like a place we can rent canoe/kayaks and backpack an area for the 5 days there. We would really like to do a lot of fishing also. None of this is set in stone, and we are very up to different ideas! Basically fishing and backpacking are what we are pretty set on though! Any advice on specific areas, rivers, campsites, places to rent from, would be awesome!
