Hi Everyone,
My wife and I are planning to go on a 6 day road trip in July. We're starting from San Diego, CA. We're planning to drive approximately 5 to 7 hours a day and camp for the nights. We're thinking of the following route although any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated:
Day 1 - San Diego to Las Vegas
Day 2 - Las Vegas to Salt Lake City
Day 3 - Salt Lake City to Denver
Day 4 - Denver to Albuquerque
Day 5 - Albuquerque to Phoenix
Day 6 - Phoenix to San Diego
Any of the following would be greatly appreciated:
Suggestions on which route to take (scenic routes)?
Other itinerary suggestions that are more fun/scenic?
Camping site recommendations? Words of caution?
Any help is much appreciated...
