    Trip to Monterey

    Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum but not to camping. I have a family camping trip to Monterey California coming up and wanted to know if anyone out there has a favorite place to camp in that area?

    We will be leaving the Silverton area and heading down either I5 or Hwy 1 and stopping either in Ashland or Klamath the first night. Any suggestions?

    We like to saty at the campground at Laguna Seca Raceway. Nice place with nice facility, wooded, etc. Our DG soil will challenge your stakes! Just a 20-minute drive to oysters by the ocean at the pier!
