This is what the entrance to Bridalveil Creek Campground on the Glacier Point Road looked like yesterday!

There are no estimated opening dates for the Tioga and Glacier Point Roads. You can find a plowing update at http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/tioga.htm.

The view from Glacier Point today! The Glacier Point Road is now open, but if you're planning to drive up there this weekend, aim for the morning or late afternoon.

This photo was actually taken Tuesday(5-24-2011) on the Tioga Road (just west of Olmsted Point) where road crews continue to work hard plowing. You're looking at over 11 feet of snow! The ranger on the right is Superintendent Neubacher.
