Joshua Tree National Park is a must-see!

Abby I know this response is a little late (2 Years) but people like myself read older posts. I also live in Orange County and one of my favorite places to get away for the weekend is Doheny (DOHO) - once the kids go back to school its very easy to get a spot and since the crowds are gone you can enjoy amazing sunsets close to home. I have done the same at Carlsbad beaches -
