I have made it back. In all it was a great trip. I thought I would be able to hike further but found out I'm not as young as a use to be! Plus up and down is a lot different than Marine Corps ruck marches!!! In total we saw 8 bears. I thought my pack was light at 43lbs because I carried a 75 lbs ruck in the Corps... I met a guy who was carrying 13lbs! I am looking into buying LIGHTER gear! HAHA!
