My family is looking for campgrounds (besides Uwharrie National Park) that allows dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. I've heard some only allow one or the other, but we need a campground that allows both. Something close to Charlotte, NC would be great. We'd love to find ones that have awesome, woodsy trails to go on. TIA for all your suggestions!!!

Maybe there's a National Forest or something where you can do that. I wouldn't think that many developed campgrounds would be amenable.2018: Any way the wind blows; doesn't really matter to me....Too Meee.... -

Try doe mountain.org it's just across the state line in tn from boone in it's a new 8600 acre park open to off road vehicles, it's about 3 hrs from Charlotte, theirs also brown mountain lights in Lenoir nc. And not far from bristol va,is spearhead trails in st.Paul vaComment
