Camping At Dreher Island In South Carolina

Has anyone camped there? I am looking to be there last week end of January for some tent camping. Looked at photo's of sites and the tent sites at water look MARVELOUS!!

I haven't camped there, but if the long range forecast for the area is correct, I would recommend preparing for really cold nights. Camping next to the water can be surprisingly chilly, especially at night. I was on a trip years ago where we actually moved to another site to get off the banks of a river because it was so bad. Moved up the mountain and things were a lot more tolerable.

Thanks MacGyver,I have BIIIGGG Buddy Heater to keep me warm!! lolol I will be watching weather though. I am going down there for a Volkswagen diesel get together and thought this would be a way to use my Springbar. I am in Apex,NC and Dreher Island is about 245 miles from me.
