Has anyone ever camped at Arrowhead Campground in the Uwharrie National Park? What are the pros & Cons of camping there? Any suggestions, or tips for someone who wants to camp there? I've been on the ReserveAmerica camping website, but it doesnt give much indepth imformation. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have camped there twice and once in the group campground. Typical park campsites for RV and tent. They have nice clean hot showers and bathroom. You are close to Badin Lake boat launch if you have a boat or want to fish. Lots of horseback, hiking, mtb and atv trails through out the park. Uhwarrie is a large area so you may have to drive to some of the bike and atv trails. Google Uhwarrie for lots of info on activities. Have fun and enjoy!!
