Where to camp in Idaho or Montana?

We've never camped in the US and are looking for a campground in either Idaho, Montana or Washington with a good lake and beach. We have a 25' travel trailer and a couple of teenagers. We are looking for a nice sand beach for swimming with at least semi-private treed camp spots (not parking lot style). We mostly like to take it easy, suntan, read etc on the beach.

Electricity, water, sewer would be good but not totally necessary as we have a generator.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
