              Thanks for your story. I've passed the EMT basic training, but never pursued the EMT route, because I was afraid I'd forget everything in a real emergency. Still, I believe I'd remember those basics about stabilization, checking vitals, administering CPR....and I think I'd be better in an emergency than if I hadn't done that training. You've convinced me that, at the very least, I should include some things in my emergency kit for such an emergency.
