Bend, OR

My family of 4 is looking to go tent camping in Bend and would welcome some recommendations. I stayed years ago on a beautiful lake not far from Three Sisters, but can't recall where it was?!? I have 2 kids, so bathroom amenities would be preferred, but moreover we like secluded, individual spots and water activites (lake, river, etc.).

There are numerous places to camp around Bend and in the Three Sisters area. That lake you stayed at could have been Elk Lake, Hosmer Lake, Cultus Lake or several others. Most of these areas are pretty busy in the summer and it would be worth your while to look into which campgrounds take reservations. If you go in the fall the crowds are much smaller and the weather is usually pretty good.
