Hello folks. This question is for people that have experience in the WV back country.
Independent hikers really, not the folks that grab a tent and pay someone 10 bucks to sleep on a concrete pad next to 50 other people. Back woods, light of the moon, no one around for at least 10 miles in either direction, bring a backpack and only what you can carry type folks.
Where in WV is your favorite spot to pack in your tarp and blast match?
Ever have bear wander up to snatch your jerky or fresh trout?
Ever run into any moonshiners?
Im trying to gather information about general locations to head out this summer that are 110% away from the tourists and Tent-City sites and really, just away from everything for a couple days.
