looking for wilderness areas in northeastern states

My girlfriend and I want to take a 5 day camping trip somewhere in the northeastern states, or at least in the Appalachian mountains. I would like to find a place we can hike in and camp, preferably close to a body of water that we can swim and fish in. I would like it to be a wilderness area where we can set up camp far away from others, and change locations each night. I'd like to find something with good elevation, I'm an amateur photographer and want to get some good photo's on the trip. We are traveling from ohio, so anywhere within a 12-18 hour trip would be fine. If anyone has some good locations that are remote, and not the typical family camping area please let me know!

There are a lot of hiking trails and campgrounds in the Alleghany National Forest in PA. The Alleghany reservoir has trails and hiker/boat access campgrounds or you can just stop somewhere on the trail and pitch your tent for the night.
