So you're going camping in Rhode Island. Good choice. There's many great places for camping near George Washington Memorial Camping Area, Diamond Hill State Park, Burlingame State Park, Fishermen's State Park and Campground, Squantum Woods State Park, beach camping at the ocean and many other areas of interest throughout the state. If you like camping near lakes you have some excellent choices including Pascoag Reservoir, Watermans Reservoir, Arnolds Mill Reservoir, Diamond Hill Reservoir, Beach Pond, Watchaug Pond, Stafford Pond, Worden's Pond, Tiogue Lake, Woonasquatucket Reservoir and others. Rivers and streams throughout the state also offer camping locations.
There are state and national parks like Casimir Pulaski Memorial Recreation Area, Roger Williams National Memorial, Charlestown Breachway State Park, Touro Synagogue National Historic Site and Goddard Memorial State Park in Rhode Island as well as local parks which may offer camping facilities. Campgrounds and RV parks can also be found in or nearby Foster, Harrisville, Pawtucket, Providence, Charlestown, West Warwick, Barrington, Bristol, Cranston, Woonsocket and many other cities and towns throughout Rhode Island.
