I moved your thread question to the North America(non US) forum, you will maybe get more replies here, because Nova Scotia is outside of the United States and most(not all) campateers are in the USA. I have not, but I have camped at "the ovens" one of the most beautiful wonders of nature.
Great (privately run) family camp ground. Build over the ruins of an old gold town- they have a small museum dedicated to the town and history of the area.
nice sites, access to the ocean, a pool, store, restaurant,
