Making reservtions, get in early for summer time!

Going to do a little trip to the coast here in Texas during July 4th week. With more than 2 months until we leave I had a hard time finding a place with openings. I was able to get the last premium spot available at Pioneer RV resort in Port Aransas; this was the third place I called. I normally don't do summer time vacationing because it is too hot here but we wanted to spend some time with the grand kids. I knew it would be crowded but I didn't think this early all the spots would be gone.

All you good follks wanting to vacation on the Texas coast make those reservations early!

you can make some early reservations at recreation.gov or look around and see what other state park, or county websites let you make reservations.
