    Leaving tonight...

    Taking my son on a backpacking trip starting tonight. I reminded him last night that we'll be doing our first mile and a half as a night-hike on Friday the 13th! He freaked-out a bit :D. Awesome!

    We'll be on the Apple Orchard Falls Trail. I'll take some pics and post them whe we get back!

                    He loved it! The only complaint that he had...his pack didn't fit him correctly...but he didn't complain untill we were back at the truck on Sunday. His problem is, he's a size large for torso length, but he only has a 30" waist. We just bought him a new pack tuesday night. Large pack with a...get this...EXTRA SMALL waist belt! So, we're selling his old pack...that was brand new. But other than that...he had a wonderful time!

                      Looks like a fun trip! And there's no mistaking your son - he looks just like you!
