October 8-11 we are camping at Sierra Campground on Hwy 49...it's about 2 or 3 miles east of Bassetts Station. We are staying in Site nine and there are 16 sites total. If anyone is interested in meeting there, you can make reservations on-line through Reserve America or just show up. Sierra Campground has the Little North Fork of the Yuba River running next to it. The closest big city is Auburn, CA. The campground is hardly used, because Lakes Basin Recreation Area is very close and there are a lot of campgrounds that cater to RV, trailers and popups there. There is hiking and great trout fishin' and only one lake is big enough for motor boats...that is Gold Lake. In the Lakes Basin area if you look at Google Earth there are some 20 lakes nearby. We will be there and maybe we'll see you there! Remember, we will be at Site nine(9)!
