    MSR WhisperLite issue - HELP?

    Just purchased the WhisperLite and started cycling tour in Nepal!. Only got to use it once successfully then the second time it won't ignite. No gas flowing from the bottle to the stove...any ideas why this would have happened and what I can try?

    Hoping it's easily fixable. Thanks!

    make sure you have enough fuel in the bottle , and that it is pressurized,

      If you have the maintenance kit, I would disassemble and reassemble the stove. That's fixed a few head scratchers for me in the past. I also know that a lot of stove issues revolve around generator problems. If for some reason you can't clean out the generator with a piece of wire or something similar, try preheating it by pouring some fuel on it and lighting it.

        Cleaned it out and got it working, but just wondering - should I be pressurizing by pumping before every use? And if so, how many times?
