Hey all!
My first post here so thanks for reading. Okay so I've been traveling Central America for the last 8 months and need to retrofit myself to save some coin and enhance my backpacking experience. How better to do that than a tent?
First things first, my requirements:
-I need a tent that is backpacker friendly
-I am now in panama so my Central American trip is only weeks from ending but I plan to continue in South America. That means Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, Argentina, and chile. I want to do a lot of hiking hopefully so I need a tent that will keep out the cold at high altitudes. Patagonia, etc (It wouldn't hurt if it could he cool too when I'm in the tropics)
-an affordable price. I'm traveling with no return date so I'm pretty cheap but I do appreciate quality (and lightweight)
-2 person
Okay so those are the main hitters. A guy recommended me the eureka mountain pass 2xTE, it sounds great and I think it's an option but I know way to little about what's out there and it's a bit heavy.
So essentially I'm looking for a hybrid of backpacker and (for lack
Of better knowledge) a mountain area tent?
Thanks in advance people. Help
ME!!
