I a getting ready to buy a Coleman Propane Stove. I was wondering how hot the bottom of the stove gets? Can it sit on a wooden picnic table? Or do I need to sit it on something else? Thanks for the help David

Re: Stove Info
I know the white gas Colemans can get hot underneath but not sure about the propane version. Throw some cheapo cork trivets(IKEA sells em in packs of 3 for about 2-3 bucks) down before you precede and all will be well . Or one of those dollar store aluminum lasagna or roasting pans..

All these pictures might not be needed if this place had more smileys.
