  • King air mattress vs 2 twins...

The only real "luxury" i can't live without when we tent camp is our air mattress due to back problems. We currently have a queen size, single high mattress but we would like to switch to a king size. I'm wondering if it would be better to get a regular king size air mattress or 2 twins. I know when we use the queen, if one of us gets up, the air pressure changes and the person thats left on the mattress usually winds up on the floor. So I can only imagine how bad that would be with one giant mattress. Any thoughts??

I'd definitely suggest two twins instead of a king mattress. The twin gives you much more versatility....and for the reason you noted - that when one person shifts it won't impact the other as much.

I would go with 2 twins. On the kings you tend to roll together and disturb each other more. I love my coleman double high twin.
