Zipper care on tents

What can i use to make lube zippers? I know the sell products for it but can you use just wax?

wax is still the best choice, IMO. You can use paraffin or old candles.

You can just run the wax along the zippers or you can melt the wax in a pan and paint it on the zippers. It is a messy process and you really need a reason for doing it. I assume you are using metal zippers. Most nylon zippers don't need lubrication unless they are damaged - and even then waxing damaged zippers is not a perfect fix, but better than nothing.
