Howdy,
We came back from our latest camping/fishing/photo trip from the shores of Lake Mojave at Mid-Basin Cove. Our Eureka 10x10 Cabin tent was wonderful except the zipper to the door finally wore out. It just wouldn't hold and was a bear of a problem the entire time. I bought the Copper Canyon model back in 2007 and the tent served us wonderfully during the 9 seasons when we camp often. So, I contacted Eureka and they are sending a replacement zipper in good faith. Everyone has seen my photos of our camping palace and I've even have given photo tours of the inside of our tent. I will be trying the zipper repair myself and in the event that we aren't thrilled with my handiwork, I did raise 5 children on camping, so that says something...we will get a heavier gauge zipper repaired for about $60 plus shipping. I really don't think that could be beat, but I'm open to suggestions. Until then we'll be using our Kodiak 9x12 Canvas Cabin tent during the colder months! Eureka as a company gets high marks of praise from me for their quick response to my concerns. 15 years ago when I was using Wenzel, Wenzel did the same thing to help me along, but then is was all snail mail then. Aren't computers amazing! Wow, thanks Eureka! And thank you http://www.campingforums.com for allowing the space to praise or condemn a company! Thanks for looking! Have you had similiar results; pro or con? It's a forum, thanks for letting me share. BTW: I like cabin tents; I like to stand when I'm getting dressed!
