Howdy,
We use to have one tent that was a Wenzel Dome that was suppose to sleep 5 adults(yeah right). It was used for years and we took it with us all over the country and into Canada a couple of times too(but you could not stand-up in it)! Canada is beautiful in the summertime! Then as our ages increased and now I'm a young 56 we, finally after spending a year or more studying tents, settled on the Eureka Storm Shelter "Copper Canyon" 10x10' model. It has withstood very strong winds, very nasty downpours and snow storms and we have carted our Wenzel about to use as a supply tent. But now we found our Kelty Cabana so the Wenzel has been retired.
What is neat about the Kelty Cabana is that if the outside weather is a bit windy or nasty it will hold two chairs, our gear and ourselves and has a half-moon shape that allows us to zip it closed or not. It folds extremely small and takes up less room than the wenzel. The price was about $35.00 and we had it shipped to our REI store here in Vegas.
