  • Pics of Magone Lake trip, eastern Oregon.

These photo's are from a past trip to Magone Lake, I spent 5 days up there solo camping and had a wonderful time. I had never been there before and wondered why all the vehicles in the campground had there hoods up, I asked around and found out they had a rat problem there, the rats like dark places and would get up on the engines and chew wiring and the sort!! I will tell you I never saw a rat the entire time or any sign of one, the campground was spotless and very clean. I enjoyed this trip and the campground, it is a Click image for larger version

Nice pictures of the back country, and campsite, diggin your 12V house battery and ResMed gear. Might want to put a 10A fuse on each end of your alligator clips to protect it, or better yet, fuses and a seq of quick disconnects:

“People have such a love for the truth that when they happen to love something else, they want it to be the truth; and because they do not wish to be proven wrong, they refuse to be shown their mistake. And so, they end up hating the truth for the sake of the object which they have come to love instead of the truth.”

              tplife,
Thanks for the comments, my resmed is fused twice, once on the positive feed to the battery and also on the front side of the adapter. Ay first I thought my camping days were over when I got prescribed a C-Pap machine as I liked to hike in to places or camp in primitive campgrounds, thank God for the DC adapters. I can get 6 nights off of my Les Schwab deep cycle battery, with a bad back the weight can be an issue but it is worth it. When I hike in now I use a converted elk cart to carry my battery and my camp load, I can only hike a couple miles now as my legs are shot but that gets me off the beaten path enough to enjoy the solitude. 95% of my camping is solo, if I go with family somebody always puts the battery in the tent for me, it sure saves my back.
