Eureka Mill
Historic old buildings really help a photographer out by just being there. Here's an infared HDR photograph of the Eureka Mill that was built at the base of the Eureka Mine and Peak of the same name. The area that we last camped at was opened up by many gold mining claims in the 1870s and also with another pass through the Sierra Nevada Mountains called the Beckworth Route that was safer than the Donner Route of which is now a very infamous route over the Mountains. Thanks for looking!
