There seems to be a new market for swimming/sports sunshades. You have probably seen them. They look like half tents, just good enough to provide some shade. I realized that I could use my rainfly and ground tarp to make a small light weight sunshade for when I take my daughter swimming this afternoon. Just thought I would share.
Now if I could figure out how to do a semi-free standing shelter with my noah's tarp, that would be awesome. So far the only thing I can think of is the lean to setup with a couple of trekking poles. That would be awesome.
