How to Preserve Children

Ingredients:

Take one large field with different & pretty flowers ,
1/2 dozen children
2 or 3 small dogs,
1 pinch of brook & some pebbles.
1 deep blue sky
1 afternoon of sunshine
Several bathtubs


Directions:
Mix the children and the dogs well! Put them on the large field with flowers, stirring constantly! Pour the brook over the pebbles. Spread over all, a deep blue sky and bake them in the sun. When brown and tired, set them away to cool in a bath tub! Thanks for looking.

Thank you Joyous & JP( a very dear friend), your comments are heartfelt! This recipe was in my great-grandmother's diary from 1910. Kinda makes us appreciate the dog days of summer!
