I came here to post and ask if anyone participated. I volunteered at a local state park. They had a wonderful agenda of activities to introduce families to camping. During the day they hosted nature hikes, frisbee golf, letterboxing (like geocaching), and more. We cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill for dinner; then had a lesson in making pizza on the grill. Then we made homemade ice cream and s'mores. After dark, a visiting expert gave an astronomy lesson - we saw Saturn!. This morning was a Scales & Tails demo. It was very fun! Hopefully, converted some families to spending more time outdoors!
