  • "Out of Character"

Sunday the wife and I will step out of our stanchy, conserative medothist life and into a rental car and drive north to Munith,
    Michigan.
Have found exactly what we have been searching for, we hope. It is a 1994 Raodtrek much like the one featured in the video below.
And, much like the 1985 ole gal we have had for 12 years. She is
well traveled and has served us well. She sported us all across Ontario earlier this year. Will certainly hate to part with her.
The newer version has many features new and/or improved.
    Easier dumping being my favorite.
And, 44,000 actual miles. This unit is like new.
If all goes well and this one meets our goals, will drop the rental off
10 miles from point of purchase and drive purchase home to Seymour, Indiana 6/7 hours south.
Nice thing. all will feel totally natural and homey.

On the way home, y'all could stop off in a Wally's parking lot and stay overnight - test the camper amenities! :D

    Congrats on the new rig!
Longtime Motorcycle Camper. Getting away from it all on two wheels!

Here we are using y-fi at a motel off I-94 in Jackson Michigan.
Roadtrek was exactly the one we wanted.
Will drive to bank in Munith Mi and do the deal. Then back to Jackson for trailer to bring Dakota home on.
Stop in Auburn tonight, then home next day.
Trip on I-69 is easy one. Never towed an auto trailer. But years hauling 22 ft boat experience. Could never see out rear windows. So, learned how to use side mirrors. Should be good trip.
          More later. Breakfast time.

It is 37f this early a.m. in Auburn, Indiana, fireside campground. Nearly home. LiL red Dakota is on car carrier behind the 1994 Roadtrek. Has only
44,000 miles on her. Like new. Pulls well, Dodge Rams are like that.
Will be glad to get home.
Previous owners, Pat & Rick, are great people. We have meant some
            new friends
Talking of meeting in Dayton, Ohio next spring to visit the Air force museum.
