It is true that the best way to entice more folks who like camping to join our ranks is by simply telling your friends about this site. But as adults, friends are hard to come by unless one has an out-going attitude. Another way is by what is called "Our Card Program." All it is, is a business size card with the words centered on the card such as "campingforums.com" and the logo that has been established by the owner of this URL, ie. JohnJohn. Soon, a form will be attached to this thread that can be downloaded to be used as the approved format for this business card, please use this form.

What to do with the card? If you really like campingforums.com make a few cards for yourself to hand out to other camping folks you might meet. But the best method is to help spread the word about campingforums.com is to attach the card to the message boards at the campgrounds that you camp at. Another place to attach the card is at the bulletin boards at your favorite grocery store or community center. Please do not put your name and email address on the card. People actually do read these message boards and someone seeing the card just might make a connection and remember the title and come and check us out. Please do not go out of your way to do this. This is just another way to talk about campingforums.com to enlist people who like to camp to check us out and join freely.

I have learned at some future point a template will be established with the logo of the camping forums on it. Until then, if you have the time and will take the trouble to make a few business cards and put in the center these words only:

Then place or pin a card on the message boards of campgrounds you visit. Or in your favorite grocery store on their bulletin boards where people advertize their skills. This might generally get more people to check out camping forums and join our ever increasing ranks of campers who like to chat about camping experiences. Or if you meet someone while camping, and many people do meet other campers, hand them a card if you are so inclined. But only do this if you want to help spread the word about camping forums. It is really a shame that someone asks for a nice campground in North America and then that person finds out that he is the only one from that region involved in this forum. Please, help spread the word!

Here is my business card for camping forums. Now attach it to message boards, grocery store bulletin boards, etc. People far and wide will soon come here to chat camping!
