  • Where can I find a USA built charcoal grill?

Anything decent is going to be a substantial investment for this ol' guy.
My current grill is literally hanging together with baling wire, scrap rebar and good intentions.
    It won't last another season
Every charcoal grill I've seen online is imported from the PRC and I don't want to support the PRC with such an expensive purchase, since my own family narrowly escaped genocide not that long ago.
    It's personal, OK?

    My requirements:
Cast Iron grilling surfaces, preferably at least 24" long total length
A sturdy grid for the coals.
    Moveable
A lid (sadly, this leaves out the Lodge Gridiron)
    A thermometer would be nice.
At least one side tray for cooking tools.
A bottom shelf to store a bag of lump charcoal, and chimney.

Other than a custom welded job, what are my options?

Ground tents work best for me, so far.
Experience along with properly set up 4WD will get you to & through places (on existing, approved 4WD trails) that 4WD, alone, can't get to.

Thanks, but I've already been to those sites.

Good ol' Char Broil is sadly no longer made in the USA, but at least they certify that their grills aren't products of slave labor.
That might be as good as it can get.
        I don't know
