I bought a Vornado VH2 for winter camping in a 30' camper. I found that when hooked to a 30 amp hookup, it still only blew slighly warm air. When I plugged it in at home, I found it blew nice hot air and warmed a room quickly. I contacted the folks at Vornado and they told me that a 30 amp hookup would probably not be enough to run it as it draws 12.5 amps on high setting and other items in camper also drawing power. I had always heard this was a great heater for campers but now seem to find out differently. Is there any tricks I am missing or should I move on to something else? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
