Click on the Video icon, enter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTeo00QXEtg into the URL field, click OK and get:

    http://https://www.youtube.com/...

But that gives you a link

Add next to the first vide0 "=youtube;bTeo00QXEtg" and you get the actual embedded video

by adding that abbreviated address =youtube;bTeo00QXEtg within the bracket, you are telling the system to embed the video and not just link. The system doesn't know you want to embed unless you add that bit.
Well thats kind of my point. I can just cut and past he video url and it will automatically be hyperlinked like this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTeo00QXEtg

So clicking on the 'video' button doesn't really do anything but add a couple steps with basically the same result. Shouldn't clicking that button automatically embed the video without having to go back and edit the code?

I mean, if I have to go back and type in more code in the first bracket I might as well type the actual brackets and words video too.

      Re: Trash Ease

hwc1954 - Thanks for the post about the Trash Ease. Nice info there and we may have to give that thingee a buy-n-try. Small, easy to pack. We currently use one of these with a trashbag as a liner, but the over time, I'm finding I don't need anywhere near it's capacity...we just don't generate much trash (just nasty-can't use again-wrappings/zip locks, scraps, etc.). It zips and can be staked, but we still empty it nightly.

I'm still trying to digest and understand the embed video discussion. lol

        Re: Trash Ease

I've seen plans for collapsible equipment (including a trash can stand) made from PVC pipe that look promising. The Trash Ease might be good for a larger group, but since I usually camp solo or with one other person, I'd rather have something that will use up the extra grocery shopping bags that we seem to accumulate.
