Tent: ALPS vs Eureka

I've done plenty of day hikes and extended car camping trips but looking to break into backpacking. I need a new tent anyways since my last one got destroyed in a hurricane in Nova Scotia.

Here's two that I'm looking at: Thoughts are greatly appreciated with stated reasons - thanks - side note, at 6'8 some of the smaller tents aren't doable for me.

What are your needs with the tent? Water proof, wind resistant, two-person, three-person, four season, etc...? Let us know. I like both ALPS and Eureka - I've used both but if I had to choose I'm partial towards ALPS as they tend to offer better aerodynamic designs. Either way, here's a huge selection of tents you can browse through.
