Have a flashlight with a laser light integrated in the light. Excellent idea! Laser light can be used during day or night to show other person/s where exactly you want them to go, and point out objects and/or "sign" posts you want others to see. Instead of trying to describe the "tree" in the forest you want the other person to see and/or go to, just point the laser light at it.

I developed a lantern that uses a fiber-optic mantle and and LED flashlight. CHeck it out at www.flashlantern.com
