When you camp, do you use an online reservation system?

If you do, I would like to hear about it.

-maximum length of booking
-maximum time ahead you can book
-any oddities about the system (ie..do you see that sites are reserved beyond the stated timeframe)
-cost
-who is the service provider

I attempted to book a site in a South Carolina State Park. The system was horrible and required you to select a site online with no pictures or useful data about the sites. Finally I just went there without booking and the pricing the site gave was inaccurate. Not sure of the provider, but I wasnt a fan
