So many new members.......

We have a slew of new members recently.......are they all aware of the proposed 2012 big meet-up???
We have polls for times/dates etc, but there only seems to be 6-10 people responding out of 800 odd members....

Yep, we are just shy of 1000 members registering. If ya go to the member list tab you'll find only a hundred or so active campateers. There are a few reasons why the numbers don't match up. The biggest reason is....anyone who has an active email can sign up, and as most everyone knows a person's first six posts are moderated, by yours truly. If a person registers and then tries to post their message; for example someone tries to post porn or spam, that moderated message has to get by me first. I see it(you don't) and if it fits the definition of porn/spam not only do I delete the message but I and/or JohnJohn ban that individual's email for life! That's the biggest reason why the numbers of registered users and the member list tab don't match up. Just so you know...

Another reason why the number of registered campateers and the Member List Tabs don't match up is that an approved(moderated) campateer who hasn't met all six total moderated messages will not usually earn(or get) a personal Member Page.

Another reason is that if a campateer doesn't stay active for a year sometimes the system will drop that individual dropped from the roles. Camping forums as a rule usually move much slower than a normal chat forum like Facebook.

A fourth reason is that a campateer's question has been answered and that person moves on with their life, some find out that they hate camping and also move on. And there are those few campateers that take everything way to seriously and get offended easily. That in a nutshell are the reasons the numbers don't match up.
