how can i hook up my sattelite dish when i go camping? i can' find a signal

Sure. Get something steady to mount it to. Turn on the set top box and tv...and point away. I think you can download satellite info via the Dish Network or Direct TV websites.

I have to agree with you, camperjoe. One of the things I love about camping is the peace and quiet, the nature sounds as opposed to the man-made sounds. I'll take chirping crickets, croaking frogs, and hooting owls over "Pat, can I buy a vowel?" any day.

I really don't consider this a camping problem, unless the dish is to eat your dinner from. Then that would be an issue. The only signal I need is "come and get it!!!"
