  • First-Aid Kit Checkup

Check your first-aid kits regularly, at least every three months, to be sure the flashlight batteries work and to replace supplies that may have expired.
The below link is a suggestion for building your own first-air kit

That is great advice. I'm a little bit lazy though and have purchased a survival kit from http://outdoorsurvival.org/survival-kits

I always feel better knowing I have my little survival kit. It just might save my skin someday.

Thanks for the reminder and the link! It's easy to forget to keep my first aid kit up-to-date, but it's so very important. You just never know when you're going to have an accident and need to use it.
