  • Grilled Salmon

    Howdy,

Here's a little twist on Salmon, we like it and I thought you might like it too.

    8 Tablespoons unsalted butter(1 stick)
    1/3 cup honey
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1 center-cut salmon fillet, skin on, (about 2 lbs in one piece)-serves 3 or 4 people.

    1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan, heat & stir until it's smooth(about 5 min). Cool to room temperature.
    2. Arrange salmon in a dish just large enough to hold it. Pour the marinade over it and allow it to sit from 30-45 mins.
    3. Prepare your grill(charcoal or gas).
    4. Oil the grill work well and cook salmon, skin side up, over medium heat for 5 to 7 mins. and then turn the salmon over once and grill until the fish flakes(another 5-7 mins.).
    5. Serve!
