Venison Stroganoff

I haven't made venison stroganoff for years, and will be coming into some venison soon. I can find lots of recipes online, but I thought I'd check with you folks for some really good ideas....maybe not stroganoff, even. What's your experience with venison, camping or not?

Do tell your favorite venison recipe! A rare treat for me, since I don't hunt. Love a little bambi now and then.

This sounds absolutely scrumptious! I'll have to wait and see what cut I receive, but I'm afraid my 'source' will be keeping the steaks for himself. I suppose I can adapt this for whatever cut I get.

One of the great recipes. I like to use nutmeg and sour cream.
