    Ingredients:
1 can straight chicken chili (use a plastic baggie and re-cycle the can at home)
1 can Trader Joe's no fat black beans(use a plastic Baggie transport)
grated cheddar or Monterey Jack (pepper jack for spicy version)
chopped green and red bell peppers
    choppped onion
    whole wheat tortillas
as a side, 1 package instant Spanish rice

    Directions:
Heat everything in a skillet and spread over tortillas. Add Tobassco per taste. :D

We take dried refried beans with us in the backcountry, re-hydrate them, slap them and whatever on flour tortillas........ Really good.

I make those at home sometimes. I call them Drunken Burritos because there great if you've had one or two too many. :D

Speakin' of food! We just found out we can't take our backpacking food with us to Tasmania. They don't allow the importation of nuts, seeds, or beans - ingredients we put in lots of the dried meals we fix.

        Bummer....................

What is going to save us is knowing we won't be more than 3 days on a trail, and there are lots of grocery stores. Looks like we buy/eat salami, cheese, dried fruit, and lots of Top Ramen.
