Trail Mix - VDF Receipe

Howdy,


Ingredients

• 1 box Goldfish® crackers (your favorite flavor)
• 1 box of Teddy Grahams® (your favorite flavor)
• 1 can mixed nuts
• 1/2 can of cashews(I like cashews)
• 1 big bag M&M® candies
• 1 box raisins or Ocean Spray® Craisins® Sweetened Dried Cranberries (your favorite flavor)

Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl with a big spoon. When mixed, use spoon to fill snack size baggies with trail mix. It usually makes about 12-15 bags. Keep in a cool dry place. They are easy to grab for that hike or bike ride, or a ride in the car or RV!

Happy Os Trail Mix

Ingredients
2 cups round, Whole-Grain Toasted Oat Cereal
1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
1/4 cup Golden Raisins
1/4 cup Crumbled Banana Chips
1 tablespoon Peanuts

Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the oat cereal, cranberries, raisins, banana chips and peanuts. Mix well and serve.

Excellent recipe. I'm going to try that one.

On the trail, cashews have the highest highest fat content of nuts .......... which is needed on long treks. So, my first choice on the trail is cashews.
