In my recent trip to the Appalachia region, I camped a few nights in VA. Hungry Mother SP, and Natural Tunnel, SP. Both campgrounds were very nice, and well maintained. Elec and water hookups at both. Sites were a bit close, but being in a pop up, you can always close the curtains for privacy. I would recommend VA state parks for anyone who is going to travel in that region.
