Hi! Just thought I'd post this to see if anyone has advice on choosing a tent...
I'm searching for a lightweight, small-pack, 2-person tent that's big enough to accommodate a medium-sized dog as well. Around 250EUR/175GBP/275USD.
So far, I've narrowed down my weeks of searching to: the NORDISK HALLAND 2 PU and the EUREKA! SPITFIRE DUO.
Both tents are within budget (!!) and "tunnels", which is what I'm looking for, but the NORDISK has a "porch"... As I've only previously camped in dome tents, I'm wondering if the porch is really as good as it sounds (is it more difficult to find a spot large enough to place the tent?). NORDISK is 3000 grams, whereas the EUREKA is around 2600g.
I'm fed up with comparing. Anyone have any insider advice?
